We've designed an easy-to-assemble foundation with no tools required. Four corner pins secure the outer rails, a middle support rail slides into place and birch wood slats roll out in a seamless piece.
Place on a metal frame & you're ready to snooze
Our beautiful bed foundation fits any metal frame, but is made especially for ours. Top with your Leesa mattress and you're ready for good sleep.

When will I receive my Foundation?
Once an order is placed, we need 2-4 business days to build and box your foundation before shipping it directly to you. We will send you an email with your tracking details as soon as your foundation leaves the building.

How do I clean my Leesa Foundation?
It'd be a little tough to put the four rails in the washing machine (and we don't recommend trying) but you can spot clean the fabric with a mild detergent if you need to remove a stain.
Do I need tools to put the Leesa Foundation together?
The foundation consists of four outer rails held together by pins and a center rail that slides into place. No Allen wrench or power tools needed. If you're unsure about how to set up your foundation, give us a call or send us a message. We're here to

What's the difference between a foundation and a box spring?
Box springs are designed to support inner spring mattresses and can change the way a foam mattress feels to sleepers. A foundation is a hard, firm surface that provides the support a foam mattress needs.
Do I need a frame for my foundation?
We recommend putting the foundation on the Leesa bed frame. However, you can place the foundation on the floor or any standard bed frame.
What is a foundation for a bed?
A foundation is basically anything that supports, raises and houses your mattress and usually consists of a wooden frame and slats. Foundations are firmer bed bases than box springs because they’re spring-less, which makes them the perfect base for your foam or hybrid mattress.
